Wow -- what a great first week! we are so grateful to the backers -- 180 and counting -- who have taken us to more than 1/3 of our goal in just a few days.

We have been working quietly on this project for many months, and it's been really exciting to finally get to share it with you. We're trying to respond to messages as fast as we can -- thank you for your ideas and enthusiasm!

Please take a minute to share the project with friends you think would love it.  This REALLY helps, and only takes a minute: Share on Facebook  / Share on Twitter.

  • SWOON -- "Edline" 2016
  • 13 Color Silkscreen on Archival Coventry Rag
  • Signed Edition of 225
  • Paper Dimensions: 27.5" x 22"
  • Image Dimensions: 23.25" x 18"

Pennant

We started working on this hand-embroidered wall hanging almost a year ago. This was one of the first tests of our idea that working with artists and crafters in the Cormiers would bring some beautiful art objects together which would benefit the community in a variety of ways all at once. These were designed by Callie and embroidered by embroidered by Louisana and Mitah.

Comb

Callie designed this piece to include one of the main decorative architectural details from the first house that Konbit Shelter built in Cormiers. It's been incredibly rewarding working with local woodworkers to bring attention and detail to the construction of a home, and we wanted to capture that spirit in a small art object and share it with you!
